Welcome To our 2011 Christmas Light Show
Park your car, stand on the sidewalk and enjoy the lights dancing to one of the 12 different songs playing on the speakers. If it’s cold out you can stay in the car and tune your FM radio to 88.9 where the show is broadcast in stereo. The shows run every day from 5:30 until at least 10:00. The shows start every 15 minutes and have from 1 to 3 songs. Each show is different so you may need to come back several times to see all the songs. As we get closer to Christmas we will add more songs per show and run them later. On the weekend before and Christmas weekend, shows run up to 11:00.
This year we received a great honor by being selected as one of the houses Featured on Fritz’s Holiday Lights. Fritz is the local NBC weather man and each night during the 11:00 news he shows footage of the best lights in the area. We will also be part of a 1 hour special that will air on Christmas day.
Each year we try to add a few new things to the show and at least one new song. Last year we did a lot of work to upgrade the big Christmas tree. It’s not up there yet but keep an eye on the top of the big tree for a new addition. I don’t want to give it away but it’s sure to be the star of the show!
We are still working on this year’s new song. The song we added late last year was“Nutrocker” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The song “Nutrocker” was released on the Night Castle album and like the rest of the TSO songs we use, it makes you want to dance with the lights. We also added "Amazing Grace" late last year.
The song that is still getting great reviews from everyone that sees it is “Jesus Child” by Denver and The Mile High Orchestra. We picked this song because it has such a unique style and it works so well with the lights. DMHO’s music is a perfect blend of red hot horns, in a mix of jazz and big band music that you just can’t get enough of. If you like this song, be sure to check out the rest of their music on the DMHO MySpace music page.
If you can't get by to see the show in person you can watch the video on the Videos & Photos page. We haven't started working on a new video for this year but the page has several videos from past years. I do have to warn you, the videos don’t come close to seeing it in person.
If you have seen our show, we would like to know what you thought of it. You can email us at
